Keith and I were married at Settlers Run on March 21st. Not a traditional wedding, it was nevertheless a magical, memorable and above all fun day, with so many of our guests commenting that it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to - and we'd have to agree! The golf course setting gave us a wonderful relaxed atmosphere for the ceremony, and of course a lovely background for our photos. Our reception took up two of the function rooms, and the late afternoon sunlight streaming into the rooms gave a beautiful light that no decorations could surpass. It was simply one of the added bonuses of choosing Settler's Run to hold our wedding.
 
The service and support we received from Racheal, Anthony and all the staff at the venue was outstanding. It was always calm, cheerful and professional - it seemed like nothing was too much trouble, and often they were at our elbow to suggest or offer something before we had even thought of it. Our timeline for the actual wedding day itself was incredibly tight - we needed to catch a midnight flight - but this was not a problem for the kitchen/catering staff, who had our guests fed and supplied with drinks without rushing them, but at the same time making sure we were never in danger of missing our flight. Particular mention must go to Racheal, who was incredibly helpful in the planning period leading up to the event, showing a great deal of flexibility and a willingness to give us her full attention whenever we needed it. 
 
We'd have no hesitation to recommend the wonderful staff and venue that is Settlers Run Golf Course.

I would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks, for putting together our wedding day. If it wasn’t for you it wouldn’t have run so well.

You personalized our wedding in so many ways ie:

• Greeting all our guests as they arrived.
• Taking all those beautiful photos to display during the evening.

• Creating a beautiful reception room, you captured what we were after perfectly!

Both Troy and I would like to thank you all for making our special day so amazing! Our day wouldn’t have run so smoothly if it wasn’t for the expertise of all your staff. I have had only positive comments about the day/night many of the guests saying how amazing the reception venue was, and how hospitable the staff were.

You should all be commended for your fantastic job the place looked simply breathtaking.

Can you please pass on our thanks to all the staff involved for everything they did to make our day go so well. We had a fantastic time and everyone commented on what a great venue Settlers Run is.

As soon as we saw the venue we knew it was just perfect and after many more visits of which I'm sure you nearly pulled your hair out over, we finally had our day all organised. Thanks for all your patience and also helping to organise all those extra touches, including the surprise photo's of our day being displayed on the flat screen TV!

We really appreciate everyone's hard work to make it all happen and no request was too much trouble. We will be recommending the venue to everyone we know, it's a lovely place and we will definitely be regular customers in the future.
