Record price at Settlers Run

The developers of Settlers Run at Cranbourne South are hailing the $400,000 sale of a homesite as a record for the region.
With Cranbourne’s median house price dipping to $225,000, buyers Katherine and Kevin Wilson had little hesitation paying just under double that for the land alone.
The elevated 891m2 homesite overlooks the project’s magnificent golf course and has expansive views of the Melbourne city skyline and Westernport Bay.
“We looked at what was around for less, but Settlers Run is more than just a piece of land. You’re paying for excellent facilities, great amenities and of course a world-class golf course,” said Ms Wilson.
The Wilsons have three young children and will be in good company at Settlers Run, with allotments ranging in size to accommodate everything from trendy townhouses to grand family villas.
Settlers Run is a $300 million masterplanned neighbourhood comprising a range of homesites offering spectacular views and a Greg Norman-designed championship golf course.
Space isn’t the only attraction at the 500-lot Medallist development. Residents have access to the Golf & Country Club and its state-of-the-art facilities, which include a bistro/bar, gym, 25-metre indoor pool, two tennis courts and a sauna.
According to Settlers Run’s Project Director, Mr Daniel Smith, the Wilson’s purchase is further evidence of the unique, quality offering of Settlers Run.
“As more people move into the estate, the on-site facilities have opened and the community is evolving, making Settlers Run even more attractive,” he said.
“The Wilsons looked at a range of developments but the combination of an outstanding homesite in a sensational location proved irresistible.”
